Super Movers can provide auto transport services throughout the country. We transport valuable collector's classics, sports cars, family minivans, large motorcycles and everything in between. We can move cars of any size and condition, whether or not they are in running condition.
There are two main courses for shipping a car – either we can ship it door to door, or from terminal to terminal. The door to door service means that the vehicle is picked up from your home and delivered to your new driveway, in the same perfect condition you left it in. A terminal to terminal service means that you will deposit your car at a terminal near your home and pick it up at another terminal near your delivery location. This service is usually cheaper, and may be more convenient for clients that will not be immediately available to accept delivery, as the car can be stored for a limited time in the delivery terminal. Terminal to door and door to terminal services are also available upon request.
Our car relocation service is the highest quality on the market. We ship the vehicles on flatbed trailers, with four wheels off the ground. We never ship cars with household goods, as doing so exposes the car to greater chances of damage during its journey. Similarly, we won't tow your car behind one of our trailers, which would expose it to a barrage of dust and debris. Instead, we will treat your car as we would our own.
Not all cars can be shipped the same way, so we offer variety of options for every vehicle and schedule. Convertible vehicles must be shipped with a top-load only service, which guarantees it special handling that will protect the fabric roof. Very expensive or fragile vehicles will be shipped in a special enclosed carrier, which will protect their suspension systems while keeping them protected from sun, wind, and road debris.
When you receive a car quote, it is an inclusive flat rate that has been tailored specifically for the needs of your vehicle. The price may vary by your date of move, so be sure to provide your representative the most accurate and up to date information as to your moving date. Also let them know about any modifications or options on your vehicle (convertible roof etc.) that may affect the way your vehicle needs to be shipped. It’s especially important to let us know if your car is not in running condition, since we will need to send a special trailer to relocate it.
A few words on motorcycles – a small moped or dirt bike can be shipped in a moving vehicle. If you would like your vehicle shipped this way, it will be charged the price per pound and may be subject to a handling fee. Before transit, all the fuel in your small motorcycle must be removed from the tank. Several other kinds of motor vehicles may be shipped on board the truck as well – examples are children's cars, scooters and golf cars.
Larger motorcycles, however, should be shipped in a car carrier. Most Harley Davidson and similar motorcycles fit in this category. Some of these bikes may need to be palletized for their protection during the journey. If this service is required, it will be included in your quote.
